Krabi Nightlife
Nightlife in Krabi is not the overpowering neon-lit madness of Patong or Pattaya and is all the better for it. Ao Nang is the epicenter of Krabi's party universe and features international restaurants, lots of bars and some live music venues. Next-door Railay has a great beach nightlife scene with lots of Reggae, fire-dancing, lounging around and a little dancing by the sea while Koh Lanta's west coast is where it's at from November to May. Lanta positively wins trophies for laid-blackness. If you're looking for a quiet drink with perhaps a little acoustic live music in the background head for Krabi Town with its many guesthouses and backpackers' bars.
